Hungaroring

Hungaroring

Home of the Formula One Hungarian Grand Prix, the Hungaroring racing circuit lies just outside the city. Nigel Mansell, crowned World Champion here in 1992, has a curve on the circuit named after him – he lost a wheel at this turn. Built in 1986, Hungaroring was the first Formula One location behind the Iron Curtain.
