Leaning Tower of Pisa

Leaning Tower of Pisa

You can't visit Pisa without seeing its most famous landmark. The cathedral's campanile, or freestanding bell tower, is one of the most remarkable architectural structures of medieval Europe. It was closed in 1990 over concerns for its safety, but now has less of a tilt after restoration work was carried out.
