Makrygianni District

This hip and happening district in the heart of Greece’s capital is often referred to as the Acropolis, as you’ll find it just to the south of the world-famous structure. It’s a quirky mix of old and new, and there’s a great selection of art galleries, independent shops and cafés to wander around.
