Old Synagogue

Old Synagogue

Built at the end of the 15th century, the Old Synagogue is the oldest surviving example of Jewish religious architecture in Poland. For centuries it was central to life in Kazimierz. It's now a museum, home to an admirable collection of photos and documents showcasing the history and traditions of Polish Judaism.
