Villa Comunale

The royal park is beautifully landscaped by renowned architect Luigi Vanvitelli and overlooks the coast with views of Mount Vesuvius in the distance. Built in 18th century by King Ferdinand IV, it first opened to the public in 1869. Here you’ll also find the Anton Dohrn aquarium.
