Place de la Concorde

Place de la Concorde

Take in the magnitude of Paris's largest square. It took centre stage during the French Revolution - Louis XVI was the first to be guillotined here in 1793. It got its current name following the Reign of Terror in the hope it would become a place of harmony. Its pink granite obelisk was a gift from Egypt in 1831.
