Asinara National Park

Asinara National Park

This untouched part of the island dances between Mediterranean scrubland, rocky coast and secret sandy coves. You can only get to it by boat from Stintino or Porto Torres and then it’s yours to explore. Expect to see plenty of albino donkeys, for which it’s famed for, as well as wild sheep, flamingos and falcons. You may even see the remains of one of Italy’s toughest prisons!
