Eurocamp FAQs

What is Eurocamp?

Eurocamp is a leading provider of fun-filled camping holidays, offering comfortable mobile homes in some of Europe’s most beautiful locations. And with over 40 years of experience, Eurocamp knows a thing or two about how to enjoy the great outdoors, without sacrificing comfort or convenience.

What type of accommodation does Eurocamp offer?

Eurocamp specialises in mobile homes with fab facilities, comfortable beds, warm showers, fully equipped kitchens and private outdoor space.

Options include:

  • Ultimate range: Sleek and modern with spacious living areas, sheltered decking and optional luxury touches such as hot tubs.
  • Premium range: Holiday homes with stylish interiors, added comforts and premium mattresses. Some models even include dishwashers.
  • Comfort range: Great-value, well-equipped homes offering space for everyone.
  • Classic range: Traditional, practical mobile homes for a comfortable, self-catering experience.

Please note, in Classic, Comfort and Premium units, you’ll need to make up your own beds when you arrive. And all accommodation options come with a small selection of cleaning products, including a cleaning sponge, dish cloth, tea towel, bin liner, washing-up liquid and all-purpose cleaner.

What’s included?

The package includes flights, a generous 22kg baggage allowance, your Eurocamp accommodation, bed linen and car hire. Plus, at most parks, there’s an end-of-stay clean included, so you can spend less time tidying and more time relaxing.

What is the check-in/check-out process?

Check-in is from 16:00 to 19:00. At most parks, you need to check in at the main park reception before you find the Eurocamp reception. If you arrive after 19:00, staff may still be available, but you might need to collect keys from a late check-in point. Some parks use automatic vehicle recognition systems at the security gates. And as you’ll be in a hire car, the vehicle won’t be recognised by the system straight away. You may need to park outside the gate and walk through to complete check in. If you arrive very late, your car may need to remain outside the gate overnight.

Please leave your accommodation by 10:00 on departure day. You’re welcome to use the park’s facilities after check-out, but some parks may charge a small local fee to do so. Late check-out is not available. Entry barriers are usually open at 07:00, but if you need to leave earlier than this, please speak to the campsite reception and/or your Eurocamp/Homair rep on-site who will advise you further. You might need to leave your car outside the barrier for the night if you’re leaving very early.

Do you provide park directions and toll road info?

We don’t provide driving directions or specific toll road information. The full park address will be included in your holiday documents which are sent out 28 days prior to your departure date. We recommend using a GPS device or a reliable mapping service to plan your route and check for any applicable toll roads in advance, as these costs are not included in the price of your car hire.

Is there someone there who can help if we need anything?

Yes, you’ll be looked after by a Eurocamp/Homair team member who’s there to make sure you have a lovely holiday! They’ll be your on-site rep and are experts on the park, so can help with any questions or queries you may have around activities, entertainment, facilities, information about the local area and more! Park contact information will also be on your holiday documents.

Will we have to pay to use any of the facilities?

Some parks may ask for a deposit to use certain facilities. You might also need to buy a wristband for the duration of your holiday, or a barrier pass for vehicle access. Park-run activities like tennis, mini-golf, bike hire and pony rides are usually payable and non-refundable. There may also be charges for sunloungers, laundry and spa facilities. Please see each individual park’s page for further information.

Are there any park regulations?

There are a few basic rules that most parks expect all guests to follow. There is a rule of silence in place after 22:00, and vehicles are forbidden to be driven through the park at this time. Not all parks have lifeguards, and where they do, it may only be during limited hours or peak season (July–August). Children must always be supervised when using swimming pools and waterslides, and all conditions of use, including age and height restrictions, must be followed.

Are there restrictions on swimwear at the park’s pools?

Many parks, mostly in France, have strict swimwear rules for cleanliness and safety reasons. Permitted swimwear includes Speedos, Lycra-style fitted swimming briefs, bikinis, one-piece swimming costumes and Lycra swimming tops. The following clothing is not permitted: sport shorts and swimming/bermuda shorts, cut-off jeans, full-body costumes, loose-fitting swimwear, t-shirts, string costumes, underwear, sarongs, skirts, shoes and sandals, and outdoor clothing. At some Italian and Spanish parks, local law requires you to wear a swim cap. If so, these can be purchased at the park.

How much spending money do I need to take?

The amount of spending money required depends on your plans. All accommodation is self-catering so you can take advantage of eating your meals 'at home'. Restaurants may be available on-site or nearby, so it's worth budgeting for any meals that you won't make yourself. Extra money will be needed for days out and any excursions you may wish to book.

Will we need to leave our passport at reception?

Some parks require guests to hand in their passports when they arrive at the site and will return them at the end of the stay. Please be prepared to do this.

Do we need to clean at the end of our stay?

As part of your package, an end-of-stay cleaning service is included. We do kindly ask that you look after your accommodation and treat it as your own home while it’s in your hands. To support this, we ask you to complete certain tasks before you leave. Full details can be found inside your accommodation. These include giving the kitchen and living areas a quick tidy by washing any dishes, cleaning appliances, emptying the bins, and taking out all rubbish and recycling. Clean the grill/barbecue (if included in your accommodation). Remove bed linen, place towels and wet items in the designated spots, fold the duvets without removing the plastic covers, and make sure no litter is left inside or outside the property. Upon arrival, if you think your accommodation needs more preparation, please inform your Eurocamp or Homair rep immediately.

Are pool towels provided?

Pool or beach towels are not provided as standard, so please bring your own. You may be able to request pool towels at reception at some parks, but this is subject to availability and may incur a local charge.
