La Cascine

This large, peaceful park, running alongside the river Arno, is only a ten-minute walk from the busy city centre. Few tourists come here so you'll be among locals walking dogs, roller-skating or jogging. There are bikes for hire and a family-friendly outdoor pool which by night hosts a cool bar and DJ.
