Church of Santa Maria Novella

Only a few minutes walk from the Duomo, this beautiful church is architecturally stunning with delicate masterpiece frescos inside. The Crucifix, one a painting by Giotto, the other a wooden sculpture by Brunelleschi, are both must-sees. The glorious Grand Cloister is sometimes open to the public, check before a visit.
