Ca’ d’Oro means 'golden house' but the 15th century gilded front of this Gothic palace is no more and today you'll recognise it from its white lacey façade, overlooking the Grand Canal. The gallery inside is worth a look, particularly if you enjoy renaissance art and sculpture. It's also a perfect photo opportunity.
