Dom Pedro Tournament

Top resorts

For an ace golfing base, Vilamoura is a real draw as it has no less than six golf courses within easy reach. Alvor is just a short journey from several championship-level courses, while it also has a charming Old Town and beautiful river boardwalk.

Great climate

The region’s golf courses are open all year round, but its golfing season typically lasts from October to May. Throughout this period, you can still expect temperatures to range within a pleasant 22C-10C with up to 10 hours of daily sunshine.

Plenty to see and do

If you fancy taking a break from the golf, you’ll find lots of things to do in Vilamoura as it has a huge tennis academy and flittering nightlife by the marina. The region is also famed for its cliff-backed beaches along Albufeira.
