Time to relax

Belek’s beachfront stretches for 16km, with the sand-and-shingle shoreline divided by sections of private beach for the more than 30 luxury hotels here. The resort’s also close to the breathtaking oasis of the Duden Waterfalls.

World-class courses

Despite being a compact resort, there are an astonishing 14 golf courses in the area. With prestigious courses such as the PGA Sultan and Montgomerie Maxx Royal Golf Club, it’s not surprising that Belek has hosted the Turkish Open.

Gloria Old Course

Par: 72

Length: 6529m

Designer: Michel Gayon

Course Type: Parkland

Tee to Green: The old course meanders through pines and offers an inviting test. One of the more mature courses in the region, the holes work well with nature to create a peaceful setting to test your game.

Signature Hole: The par 4 8th is a real test, with the fairway narrowing towards the green. Take careful consideration of your route to the green.

The 19th: Restaurant. Bar. Pro shop. Putting green. Driving range.

Gloria New Course

Par: 72

Length: 6523m

Designer: Michael Gayon

Course Type: Parkland

Tee to Green: This is one of the shorter courses in Belek. It’s hosted the European Seniors Tour Classic and more recently the World Amateur Team Championship.

Signature Hole: The par 3 17th requires real accuracy. The green is protected on three sides by water and any misjudgement is likely to see you playing your second shot from the same spot as your first.

The 19th: Restaurant. Bar. Pro Shop. Putting green. Driving range.

Maxx Royal Montgomerie Course

Par: 72

Length: 6486m

Designer: Colin Montgomerie

Course Type: Parkland

Tee to Green: Home of the European Tour event, the Turkish Airlines Open, this course oozes quality and has played host to some of the biggest names in golf including Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods.

Signature Hole: The par 5 13th is a tough test for any golfer. Two trees split the fairway, leaving a choice of risk or reward and the waste bunker intersects the fairway requiring an accurate second shot to leave a clear view to the green.

The 19th: Restaurant. Bar. Pro shop. Putting green. Chipping area. Driving range.

Sueno Pines

Par: 72

Length: 6013m

Designer: PGA Design Consulting

Course Type: Parkland

Tee to Green: Perfect for groups, this rolling course flows through umbrella pines. Naturally, the Pines course is more tree-lined than its neighbour, the Dunes, and it features a number of water hazards.

Signature Hole: The 18th is a dogleg right with water running down the left hand fairway to the green. It makes an interesting finish to your round.

19th Hole: Restaurant. Bar. Driving range. Putting green.

Sueno Dunes

Par: 72

Length: 5282m

Designer: PGA Design Consulting

Course Type: Dunes/Parkland

Tee to Green: The Sueno Dunes is shorter than its sister course the Pines and is more open with sand dunes creating a serene and stunning setting.

Signature Hole: The par 4 18th may seem tame from the tee, as it has a wide fairway. The second shot demands accuracy to reach the island green. A shot that’s left, right, long or short will result in a watery end to your round.

The 19th: Restaurant. Bar. Driving range. Putting green.
