Church of Santa Maria

The attractive Church of Santa Maria has a long history in Pineda de Mar, with records dating it to at least 1079. It was completely rebuilt in the 14th-15th centuries and has since survived looting by pirates and fire. The bell tower was added in the 18th century while the geometric facade dates from 1948.
