Amathus Ruins

The Amathus ruins are the remains of the one of the oldest ancient cities of Cyprus, first occupied in 1050BC. Today you can see several tombs and an acropolis, with a first-century AD Roman temple to Aphrodite. There are also public baths and the remains of the eighth-century BC palace of Amathus.
