Es Trenc is one of Mallorca's most famous and beautiful natural beaches, located on the south coast of the island. It's renowned for its long stretch of white sand, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and protected natural dunes, often compared to Caribbean beaches.

What makes Es Trenc special or unique?

Its unique appeal lies in its unspoiled, natural beauty. Unlike many developed beaches, Es Trenc lacks large hotel complexes or extensive commercial development. It's part of a protected natural park, featuring pristine dunes, salt flats (Salobrar de Campos), and a rich ecosystem. The sand is fine and white, and the water is incredibly clear and shallow, stretching far out.

What activities can I do at Es Trenc?

The main activities are swimming, sunbathing, and long walks along the shore. The calm, clear waters are also good for snorkeling (though marine life isn't as abundant as in rocky coves). Birdwatching is possible in the salt flats behind the dunes.

With a sweeping stretch of fine white sand and crystal clear blue waters, Es Trenc is one of Majorca's beach hotspots. It's unspoilt because of the nature reserve that backs on to it. Its gentle slopes and lack of waves make it very safe for children. The beach bar has drinks, snacks and ice-cream.
