Bugibba Temple

Bugibba Temple

Set in the grounds of a hotel, this mysterious Megalithic structure dates back to the Maltese Copper Age. It was built for the worship of a god that we know little about. The main surviving feature is the entrance roofed over by a block of stone weighing several tones, and remnants of a front wall and semi-circular chamber.
