A polished gem
Cala Mayor’s still relatively undiscovered. The larger neighbouring resorts tend to attract bigger crowds, leaving the likes of Cala Mayor to conjure up a relaxed and enticing atmosphere. The beach is the real winner, though – it’s golden, fine and backed by palm trees with a Blue Flag rooted into the sands.
A true culture trip
Palma, the capital city of Majorca, opens up for big-time souvenir shopping, while also offering chic bars and clubs. You even have the extra option of delving into the culture and history of the island, too – La Seu Cathedral, which dominates the skyline, is well worth a closer look.
