It’s no wonder this resort always comes up trumps – it offers a choice of beaches, beautiful mountains to walk up through and dozens of possible day trips, plus it’s close to busier towns. What more could you want? There’s a lush, green valley for seriously pretty photo spots, too.
If you want to experience a more active side of Olu Deniz, then strap in and get ready. This is the place to be for paragliding and scuba diving, so you’ve no excuse not to stay busy. The trendy restaurants and cool lounge bars can get pretty lively at night, too.

Olu Deniz is renowned for its stunning Blue Lagoon and picturesque beaches. It's considered one of the most beautiful places in Turkey, known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters, lush landscapes, and striking mountains that provide a dramatic backdrop. The town is also famous for breathtaking views of the coastline.
The best time to visit Olu Deniz is from late spring to early autumn, specifically between May and October. During these months, you can expect warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine, making it ideal for beach activities and outdoor adventures. July and August are the busiest months, so if you prefer a quieter experience, consider visiting in May or September.
Olu Deniz is very family-friendly! The beaches are safe for children, with shallow waters close to the shore. There are also plenty of family-oriented activities, such as boat trips, themed parks, and opportunities for mild adventures like hiking or cycling. Families can find a variety of accommodation options to fit their needs.
While in Olu Deniz, don't miss trying local Turkish dishes such as meze, kebabs, fresh seafood, and traditional desserts like baklava. Many restaurants offer fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, making for a delightful culinary experience. You might also want to try a traditional Turkish breakfast, which includes a variety of cheeses, olives, and breads.
While Olu Deniz is more laidback compared to other tourist hotspots, it does offer a selection of bars and a few nightclubs. You can enjoy a relaxed evening at beachfront bars or participate in local events and live music nights for some entertainment after dark.
