Mon Repos

Mon Repos is a neoclassical palace built in 1826 by the British Commissioner Frederic Adams as a gift to his Corfiot wife, Nina Palatianou. It has been used by the Greek royal family and the Queen’s husband Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh was born in the house in 1921. It is now a museum of Ionian treasures and Greek archeological remains.
