Xerri's Grotto

Xerri's Grotto

Behind the door of what looks like an ordinary home in Xaghra, you’ll find something quite magical. Discovered in 1924 by the current owner’s grandfather, Xerri’s Grotto is an underground cavern reached by a stone spiral staircase. Amazing stalactites and stalagmites cover the grotto, which was excavated by hand.
