Savina Monastery

Savina Monastery

Set in the pretty bay of Boka Kotorska, among thick vegetation, this monastery was founded in the fifteenth century. It’s made up of three churches, the large baroque 18th century church dedicated to Uspenje Bogorodice: ‘Falling into sleep of Holy Mother of God’. Marvel at the Byzantine-Gothic frescoes in the older church.
