The Blue Caves are a series of stunning sea grottoes located along the northern coast of Zakynthos, near Cape Skinari. They are famous for their striking blue waters and natural rock formations created by erosion.
The name comes from the dazzling blue reflections that fill the caves when sunlight hits the water. The sea’s crystal-clear clarity and the limestone rock create a magical light effect, illuminating the interiors in shades of bright turquoise and cobalt blue.
Early morning or late afternoon is ideal. During these times, the light is softer and enhances the caves’ vivid blue glow. Midday is also popular but can be busier with more tour groups.
We don’t have any villas in this resort right now. But we’ve hundreds available in other destinations, so find your perfect one now.
